DIY // Ghosts of Wool

Not much color today...haha, sometimes I can do without it. The ghosts are already very nice, but if you want they can be made in all kinds of colors. Mine all turned white because I thought it looked chic. My daughter also made them, but she started with mint green.

What do you need:

  • Wool
  • Clothes hanger (mine is from Sostrene Grene €1.22)
  • Pair of scissors
  • Piece of cardboard (10cm)
  • Black marker

To work

Wrap your wool around the piece of cardboard about 25 times, do not do this too tightly. Slide a piece of thread under your wrap and tie it tightly.

Carefully slide the wool off your cardboard and lay it down so that your button is on top. Cut a piece of wool and knot it 1/3 of the way down to create the ghost's head. Now cut the loops at the bottom.

Your ghost is almost ready! Draw 2 eyes on your ghost with a black marker and your ghost is ready.

Give your ghosts different lengths so that it looks a bit more playful when you tie them to your clothes hanger. I made 13 ghosts to fill the pendant.

You can hang your pendant on the wall, but it is also very nice in front of the window! Tie if necessary. lights around your pendant. I'm going to try this out myself, but I don't have any lights at home yet.

Have fun crafting!!

Love, Elke
