DIY//Origami Mushrooms

These origami mushrooms are so cute and so easy to make. You can use the mushrooms in different ways. I'm going to use them in my Bullet Journal, but you can also make them into a cake topper or garland. They are also very nice as extra decoration on a gift.

What do you need

  • origami paper or nice, not too thick, square paper.
  • round stickers.
  • washi tape
  • Scissors
  • To work

    • Place the pretty side up.
    • Fold your paper in half from point to point.
    • Unfold your paper again and fold 1 corner to the centerline.

    • Fold the other corner to the center as well
    • Turn your paper over.
    • Fold the top part down and then fold it back.

    • Fold the corner back.
    • Fold the bottom corner up and then partially down again.
    • Fold the tip down as shown in the photo.

    • Fold the other side as shown in the picture.
    • Now comes the hard part! Unfold your last fold and bring it to the center line.
    • Do this on the other side as well.

    • Fold the bottom point upwards a bit, see photo.
    • Fold the 3 remaining corners a little, see photo.
    • This step is not necessary, but I like it better this way.

Turn your paper over and tadaaa.... a mushroom!

With the golden stickers you can give your mushrooms beautiful, glamor dots. You can also do this with a marker.

    Have fun folding!

    Love, Elizabeth
